Dr Skye Kinder is a passionate advocate for rural and other marginalised patients and their communities. In addition to her clinical work as a doctor in the field of mental health, she is a prolific writer and award-winning speaker and health commentator. Dr Kinder seeks to address health inequality through extensive volunteerism, charity work and public advocacy efforts.

Dr Kinder was recognised as 2017 VIC Junior Doctor of the Year and finalist for Australia and New Zealand Junior Doctor of the Year. She was later named 2019 Young Victorian of the Year and 2019 VIC Young Australian of the Year. Dr Kinder has been featured on the Australian Financial Review 100 Women of Influence list and is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree.
